"I design for clients looking for a wow factor... Women and men that take risks and want something meaningful," says internationally recognized interior designer, Feng Shui practitioner and jewelry designer, Margaret J. Harris.

Margaret's own Journey has fueled a passion for art and design, which started while traveling as a child with her parents and living in China. Spending some formative years in China afforded her an exposure to practices which are now common to western design such as Feng Shui. Her mother, a life-long Buddhist, developed Margaret's passion for adventure and exploration as well as respect for cultures that trace their origins back millennia.

Margaret remains fascinated by the lively people, the architecture, the silks and embroideries and the charms and amulets which people of many different faiths wore for luck and protection. Whether Margaret is designing furniture, carpets or jewelry she always brings the balance and harmony of Feng Shui to each of her unique projects.

The Journey Jewelry Collection is a carefully edited, authentic, one-of-a-kind collection of necklaces and pendants for both women and men. This collection translates Margaret's own experiences, life-long travels and love of the creative and spiritual into one-of-a-kind pieces, each with a unique story. Both the amulets and charms that are featured have been passionately collected from all over the world including Mongolia, China, Southeast Asia, India, Turkey, Egypt, Tibet, Nepal, Afghanistan, Africa and Europe. Each amulet serves for protection and each charm for luck.

As an entrepreneurial interior designer with a creative portfolio of over 35 years, clients have always been enthralled with Margaret's couture items for their homes and special treasures brought back from her exotic travels. Margaret discovered a way to merge and integrate all the teaching philosophies, design elements and metaphysical tools into a product line simple in its concept, but complex in its execution.

Margaret received a B.S. Degree in design from the University of Michigan and is a licensed interior designer and a professional member of The American Society of Interior Designers. Margaret is a graduate of Crossroads Institute, a multi-disciplinary program preparing the gifted healer to work effectively in the community within his or her prospective field. She owned Om for the Home, a Spa for the Spirit and another venture, New Reality, in which items for inspiration and meditation were created.

Margaret would ask that, "As you travel on your own Journey remember those who travel with you, those who have traveled before you and to always go in peace. Blessings. OM Shanti."
